Multi Screen and Interactive Classroom displays

School classroom teaching displays have changed dramatically since I was at school. The humble blackboard with the constant screech if dusty chalk, writing illegible words across its dark surface are a very distant memory.

Todays Classroom installation in Norwich Norfolk brings us bang up to date with todays technology, in the centre of the three installed screens is a 75″ Interactive touch screen by Clevertouch with built in Android PC. It has an HDMI ¬†feed to the teachers Laptop on the desk in front and a USB which when connected give full touch control of the laptop on the screen. The building has a number of complications with it’s classroom configuration due to four pillar supports which unfortunately obscure the view of the Interactive Touchscreen.

The solution the School chose was to extend the installation and mount two additional 75″ display screens with mirrored displays either side of the Interactive touch screen. This enables the pupils to see at least one full display no matter were they are sitting in the room. It was a large and tricky installation due to the weight of the Interactive screen which is around 75kg and the wall being double thickness plasterboard, so some re-enforcement was required to hang the sets.

This kind of installation also works in the boardroom and in meeting or training rooms usually with the addition of HDMI matrix switches so you can display either the same of a different image on each screen and even add video conferencing to the Interactive touchscreen. We have installed many systems like this throughout Norwich, Norfolk, Ipswich, Suffolk and Cambridge and would be happy to give a free survey and quotation for any of your business Audio Visual Needs.
